Dr. W. Dane Foxwell

Veterinarian / Owner
I graduated from The University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and practiced for two years in Las Vegas before moving to Florida three years ago. I live right here in Fort Myers on a small farm with my wife (also a Veterinarian) and our four children, five chickens, two horses, donkey, dog, and cat.

While my life’s passion is veterinary medicine as a whole, I have a particular fondness for surgery, ultrasound, reproductive medicine, and exotics. I pride myself on working as hard as I can to help as many animals as possible.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.

Veterinarian
I grew up in O’Fallon, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. I recently moved to the area with my husband, Danylo, and my chihuahua, Jordan, and we are excited to explore Fort Myers further. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and spending time at the local beaches. After finding my love for veterinary medicine, I discovered during my clinical rotations that I have a special interest in neurology and ophthalmology. I am excited to get to know everyone who is a part of the Colonial Animal Hospital family.

Director of Operations / Practice Manager
I have been working in the veterinary field as a technician for over 5 years. My passion has always been working with animals ever since I was very young. I have spent my whole life working to achieve my goal of being in this field. I have experience with a wide variety of exotic pets from monkeys to monitor lizards as well as dogs and cats. I have been certified as a vet assistant since high school, and I am currently in school for my Veterinary Technician degree. I love spending time with my family, and when I’m not with them, I’m helping the animals that are in need. I love nature and learning about new ways to further my knowledge. I am very happy to be a part of Colonial Animal Hospital and can’t wait to meet all of your furry family members.
